  • Carry out firebreak and property inspections to confirm compliance with bushfire obligations.
  • Perform bushfire control and weather officer duties in line with the Bush Fires Act 1954.
  • Assist with fire control activities, including controlled burning and fire extinguishment.
  • Manage abandoned vehicle matters in accordance with the applicable legislation.
  • Oversee the animal management facility, including cleaning, register upkeep, animal release or rehoming, humane euthanasia where required, and fee collection.
  • Remove and relocate snakes within municipal boundaries.

Required background and capabilities
