Role overview
This position sits within Ryanair’s Purchasing and Facilities team and supports the wider Finance function in Dublin, Ireland. The role is part of Europe’s largest airline group, with the business continuing to expand toward a target of more than 800 aircraft and 300 million guests annually over the next decade.
What you will do
- Carry out a broad range of administrative tasks that keep the Purchasing & Facilities department running smoothly.
- Support Accounts Payable with invoice processing, including preparing invoices, matching delivery paperwork, and getting items approved for payment.
- Look after selected supplier and service accounts, including negotiating costs where needed.
- Keep records up to date and prepare internal reports covering Finance, uniforms, and SAP-related activity.
- Track incoming and outgoing deliveries, including dates and times, and make sure relevant staff are informed of movements.
- Oversee facilities-related follow-up such as arranging callouts and maintenance inspections when required.
- Administer archiving and record-control processes across departments.
- Support building facilities management across the relevant sites.
- Organise the weekly transfer of stock to outstations while maintaining accurate stock records and purchasing system updates.
- Report operational issues to management and suggest practical ways to resolve them.
- Take on additional tasks as assigned by the manager.
Requirements
- A full EU or UK driving licence is required.
- You should have solid computer literacy and strong Microsoft Office skills; SAP experience is a major advantage.
- The role calls for someone who can work accurately and effectively under tight deadlines.
- Good organisational ability and the confidence to work independently are important.
- An energetic, outgoing personality is preferred.
