About the Opportunity
Paramount Pictures UK is seeking a creative, motivated intern to join its Publicity team for a 12-month, full-time paid placement based at the Chiswick office. This position offers a hands-on introduction to film publicity and the chance to support how upcoming titles are promoted to press and audiences throughout the UK. The role reports to the Head of Publicity and works closely with the broader team.
The compensation is set at the London Living Wage of £96.95 per day, paid monthly, which works out to approximately £25,207 per year.
What You'll Be Doing
- Coordinate press screenings by arranging bookings with the FDA, managing official screening dates, handling catering and security, and welcoming guests at day and evening events, including Week of Release Screenings.
- Support press servicing by sharing titles and image assets through the media management platform, issuing release-date updates and change-of-date notices, maintaining the forthcoming slate, and managing invitations and RSVPs.
- Assist with junkets by running check-in desks, preparing talent folders, sharing schedules with DMS, and organising travel and transport for journalists and talent, sometimes requiring early starts or late finishes.
- Maintain publicity tracking by updating the calendar and notes, keeping weekly minutes and competitive reviews current, logging reviews and audience reactions for Head Office and Marketing, and circulating premiere and gala materials.
- Manage administrative tasks such as maintaining PPUK mailing lists through the database agency, tracking purchase orders and BTA credit card spend, and arranging meeting rooms and catering when needed.
- Serve as a key contact for the FDA on press-team matters and communicate directly with journalists and National Critics.
