About the Company

Fairmont Chateau Whistler is a mountain resort set at the foot of Blackcomb Mountain, about two hours north of Downtown Vancouver. The property combines winter ski access with summer golf, making it a year-round destination for outdoor experiences in Whistler. It is also the largest conference resort hotel in the area, with five dining venues, a slope-side health club, and 519 guest rooms and suites.

Role Overview

As an Overnight Kitchen Cleaner, you will help keep the hotel’s shared spaces and outlets spotless and welcoming. Your work will support a comfortable guest experience while keeping kitchen operations running smoothly during the night shift. This is a permanent, full-time position that begins immediately.

Compensation

The starting wage for this role is CAD 23.70 per hour. Pay progression is tied to tenure, with increases after 6 months and then annually through the third year. By the end of year three, the hourly rate for this position reaches CAD 30.20.

Key Duties

• Run the industrial dishwasher and manage the dishwashing process.
• Make sure kitchen teams have the dishes and silverware they need, and that guests receive clean tableware.
• Sort, stack, load, and unload dishes efficiently.
• Remove broken or chipped items from use and keep accurate inventory of them.
• Clean kitchen areas thoroughly after service ends.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, manages time well, and can work cooperatively with team members while requiring little day-to-day supervision.
