Role overview
The Order Processing Assistant will handle customer orders with accuracy and speed, helping ensure products are fulfilled on time and customers receive a consistently high level of service. This position supports the full order lifecycle by working closely with internal teams, keeping order data up to date, and following company procedures as well as customer-specific requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Enter, review, and confirm customer orders in the ERP platform with strong attention to detail and punctuality.
- Track orders from the moment they are received until delivery and invoicing are completed.
- Answer customer questions and share updates on order progress, product stock, and shipment status.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams to fix order discrepancies, inventory gaps, and delivery-related issues.
- Keep order documentation accurate and aligned with internal policies and operating standards.
- Generate order-processing reports, follow key performance indicators, and contribute to process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a similar discipline.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in Customer Service, Order Processing, Supply Chain, or Logistics, ideally in the FMCG sector.
- Solid understanding of order management workflows.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, with SAP as a preferred platform.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with a customer-focused approach.
