You will join the team as an Office Cleaner in Swieqi, Malta, helping ensure the office and related spaces stay clean, tidy, and comfortable for employees and visitors.

Role summary

This role is centered on keeping the office environment presentable and sanitary across workspaces, kitchens, restrooms, meeting areas, and the company apartment. The position also includes stock management for cleaning items and support with kitchen upkeep.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain all office floors and nearby common areas by vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and spot-cleaning carpets.
• Clean and care for desks, chairs, counters, and other surfaces through dusting, spraying, and wiping.
• Handle waste removal from office spaces.
• Sanitize restrooms each day and replenish hygiene supplies as needed.
• Wash windows in conference rooms, management offices, and similar areas.
• Dust, disinfect, and polish furniture and surfaces when required.
• Keep cleaning supplies and kitchen consumables adequately stocked.
• Support the office chef with kitchen cleanliness and related duties.
• Replenish kitchenette supplies on all floors and for the Board Room when necessary.
• Prepare and clean the office canteen before and after staff lunches.
• Maintain cleanliness during office events and meetings.
• Clean the company apartment as part of assigned duties.
• Flag any repair needs or replacement issues noticed while carrying out daily work.

Requirements

• Willingness to work on a flexible roster with varying shifts.
• Good spoken and written English communication skills.
• Prior experience in cleaning or janitorial work is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Good time management and the ability to prioritise tasks within set deadlines.
• Capability to work independently with limited supervision.
