About Snap and the Role
Snap Inc. is a technology company focused on the camera as a way to help people communicate, learn, express themselves, and enjoy the world around them. Its product family includes Snapchat, Specs Inc. (a wholly owned subsidiary focused on making computing feel more natural and human), Bitmoji, Saturn, and other digital products.
The Creative & Marketing team helps shape Snap’s brands within culture so audiences better understand the company and its products. As Marketing Manager, Specs, you will own major brand and go-to-market programs for SPECS, turning business priorities into marketing direction and output across the full consumer journey. You will work across teams to define how SPECS appears in campaigns, content, creator programs, channels, and launch moments in the U.S. and internationally.
This position suits someone who is comfortable partnering with both in-person and distributed teams, works well across cultures and audiences, and brings a clear point of view with strong judgment. The role calls for an independent, resourceful, highly collaborative marketer who can move quickly in ambiguous situations, manage several workstreams and stakeholders at once, and balance strategy with hands-on delivery. Background in technology, innovation, gaming, or other culture-defining brands is valuable, along with familiarity with software, hardware, and emerging technology in the AR space.
Key Responsibilities
- Own important SPECS brand and go-to-market programs through campaign build, launch, and ongoing support, making sure the work is strategically sound, creatively strong, and tied to business objectives.
- Turn product features, audience insights, and business priorities into persuasive brand narratives, marketing programs, and practical examples that make SPECS feel appealing, timely, and relatable.
- Shape creator, influencer, and culture partnership strategies for major launches and brand moments, coordinating with internal partners and outside collaborators to build trust, desirability, and social credibility.
- Develop and execute content strategy across owned and paid/amplified channels such as social, web, email/CRM, and campaign materials, maintaining consistent voice and brand identity across every touchpoint.
- Work with Strategy, Creative, Production, and Project Management teams to create strong briefs and guide projects from concept through delivery while maintaining a high creative bar.
- Collaborate with Media and Channel Marketing teams on integrated brand and performance plans that move people from awareness and interest to consideration, action, and continued engagement after launch.
- Coordinate communication across Product, Communications, Developer Relations, Research, Media, and external partners to keep programs on track and aligned.
- Oversee budgets, agency relationships, and external partners with clear judgment, accountability, and attention to detail.
- Measure and share results for campaigns, channels, creators, and content; interpret learnings; and identify ways to improve future work.
- Help build a collaborative, inclusive, and trusted team culture while being a dependable partner across the wider organization.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 10 years of experience in brand marketing, product marketing, or integrated consumer campaigns.
- Experience launching hardware products and consumer electronics.
- Proven experience building integrated go-to-market plans across brand, content, creators, media, and owned channels.
- Track record of contributing to or leading standout creative storytelling in brand marketing settings.
- Experience creating content and marketing programs across social, web, email/CRM, video, presentations, and other consumer-facing assets.
- Strong experience in creator marketing, influencer strategy, partnerships, or culture-led marketing.
- Experience working with top-tier creative teams, agencies, production partners, and well-loved consumer brands.
- Strong cross-functional partnership skills with a collaborative, respectful, and kind working style that helps elevate the quality of the work.
- Strategic thinker with good judgment, a broad perspective, and the ability to influence across teams and levels.
- High emotional intelligence, sharp thinking, and the ability to coordinate multiple complex projects in uncertain environments.
- Comfortable managing upward and across functions with clarity, ownership, and follow-through.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong initiative and careful attention to detail.
- Preferred background includes AR, spatial computing, or emerging technology; experience with creator ecosystems, influencer programs, or large-scale cultural partnerships; and experience driving demand, engagement, and long-term momentum for premium consumer technology products.
