Role overview
This position is focused on strengthening and expanding operational capability within service delivery for MINDEF/SAF. The work combines operational planning, systems upkeep, parliamentary support, and event coordination.
Key responsibilities
- Create and refine the operating structure, concept of operations (CONOPS), and standard operating procedures to keep MINDEF/SAF service operations running without interruption.
- Prepare refresh plans and maintain the usefulness, readiness, and relevance of MINDEF/SAF intranet systems and related processes.
- Support parliamentary work by coordinating replies and materials for Parliamentary Questions, Committee of Supply debate, and other parliamentary sessions and workflows.
- Plan and run National Day Observance Ceremonies at the MINDEF Building.
- Own assigned workstreams and contribute to additional tasks or projects as required to support the department’s overall objectives.

The job requires balancing multiple priorities, ranging from operational planning to event management.
What the ideal candidate brings
A background in Business or Information Technology is preferred. The role is suited to someone with a strong interest in operations, solid command over operational processes, and the ability to work comfortably with MINDEF senior leadership.
Experience and capability requirements
You should have at least 3 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: organisation planning and development, business continuity planning, resource planning and management, business process engineering, corporate IT, or web management. Experience in operations-focused work will be an advantage. Strong networking ability and confidence in stakeholder engagement are important.
