KBR is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent for an HDPE plant in Jubail, with this opportunity limited to Saudi nationals.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee contractor-executed maintenance work across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines for the HDPE plant, ensuring alignment with company standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance execution records in the CMMS platform.
• Assist the Planning and Scheduling Supervisor with day-to-day coordination.
• Work with the Reliability team on bad actor investigations and initiatives to improve plant reliability.
• Draft weekly maintenance summaries and share progress updates in maintenance review meetings.
• Direct routine maintenance operations to keep equipment available and dependable.
• Plan and coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for HDPE process assets.
• Support competency development through task-focused training in collaboration with the Head of HR.
• Ensure all maintenance work follows strict HSE requirements.
• Contribute to shutdowns, turnarounds, and major overhauls so they are completed safely and on schedule.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least 20 years of experience in Oil & Gas or petrochemical maintenance for candidates with a high school qualification.
• At least 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas or petrochemical maintenance for candidates with a diploma.
• At least 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas or petrochemical maintenance for candidates with a bachelor’s degree.
• Saudi nationality is mandatory.
• Prior exposure to HDPE, polyolefin, or polymer production facilities is preferred.
• Strong understanding of maintenance contract administration, safety requirements, and refinery/petrochemical maintenance practices.
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to communicate effectively.
• Demonstrated leadership capability in large-scale organizations.
• Sound judgment under pressure with the ability to solve operational problems.
• Strategic mindset and willingness to adopt new approaches.
• Capable of delivering business outcomes in a multicultural workplace.
