Kitchen Porter

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Kitchen Porter to support the day-to-day running of the kitchen at Eurest in Harwell. This is a permanent full-time position, with contracted hours of 37.5 per week. The role is based on a shift pattern of 5 days out of 7.

As part of the team, you will help keep the kitchen running smoothly, maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, and deliver a high level of customer care. Key responsibilities

• Keep the kitchen consistently clean and operating to a high hygiene standard.
• Work efficiently in a busy environment to help prepare fresh food.
• Make sure chefs have the ingredients, tools, and support they need to produce fresh dishes.
• Prepare well-made drinks and serve food to a standard that leaves customers satisfied.
• Work positively as part of the team and contribute to a supportive kitchen environment.
• Represent Compass Group UK&I professionally and help maintain a strong brand image.
• Follow food handling and hygiene requirements at all times.
• Observe health and safety rules and workplace procedures.
