Role overview
This role calls for an energetic and motivating Key Holder to work closely with the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in keeping the store running smoothly and efficiently. The position requires strong coaching and mentoring ability, as you will set the standard for the sales team and help drive the delivery of authentic, personalized customer experiences that support sales and service goals.
The role also involves using retail knowledge and cash-handling experience to complete opening and closing responsibilities, along with start-of-day and end-of-day cash balancing on a rotating basis.

What the job involves
- Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in the day-to-day operation of the store.
- Lead by example and coach the sales team to deliver exceptional, individualized customer service.
- Help the team meet sales and customer service objectives.
- Perform cash reconciliation at the beginning and end of the day.
- Take responsibility for opening and closing the store on a scheduled rotation.
Requirements
- Prior retail experience is required, ideally in cosmetics.
- Ability to provide warm, authentic, and personalized service to customers.
- Retail operations experience, especially with cash reconciliation and store opening/closing, is preferred.
- Previous supervisory exposure, including coaching or mentoring others to hit sales and service goals, is an advantage.
- Willingness to work retail schedules, including days, nights, weekends, and special events in a busy environment.
- Experience using retail point-of-sale systems is needed.
- Applicants must be able to show proof of the legal right to live and work in the country if selected for interview.
Compensation and benefits
The expected hourly pay for this position is between $17.25 and $28.25, depending on factors such as experience, skills, education, budget, and location. The role may also qualify for an annual discretionary bonus and additional education-related budget support.
