Role overview
This position is with a Haystack partner and is focused on quality assurance within a complex, computer-driven setting. The role centers on building reliable quality control practices, validating systems and documentation, and supporting the delivery of accurate, compliant outputs across the development lifecycle.
What you will do
- Design and apply quality control methods that keep work aligned with required standards and procedures.
- Set up checks for hardware, software, and supporting documentation at different stages of development.
- Plan and carry out testing to confirm systems function correctly, can be debugged effectively, and meet stated specifications.
- Identify defects, malfunctions, and inconsistencies, then communicate them to management for follow-up.
- Develop, update, and maintain Quality Assurance Plans (QAPs) and Software Quality Assurance Plans (SQAPs).
- Organize quality records and reports using digital engineering and documentation tools.
Requirements
Candidates should bring hands-on experience in quality assurance, along with a strong understanding of software and systems engineering environments. A solid command of quality control concepts, including ISO-9001, is expected. Experience working with testing methods, testing tools, and Agile environments is important. The role also calls for strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, clear communication, and the capacity to work well across multidisciplinary teams while managing quality documentation.

Compensation and benefits
The salary range for this role is $53,280 to $240,350 per year, depending on experience.
