Junior Designer

Role Overview

This is an entry-level Junior Designer position with a creative agency that works on integrated campaigns and projects for a wide range of brands, from smaller businesses to major names. The team values originality, curiosity and a willingness to explore fresh ideas rather than routine work.

Location and Work Setup

The role is based in West Ham, England, United Kingdom, with the job details also stating Fulham, SW6 3PA. The working arrangement is hybrid.

Salary and Employment Details

The starting salary is GBP 28,500 per year. This is a full-time, permanent position.

What the Role Involves

You will work alongside the Head of Creative and the wider design team, contributing ideas, learning from senior colleagues, and getting hands-on across multiple creative projects.

• Support the Head of Creative and other designers on day-to-day project work.
• Contribute ideas, take initiative, and participate actively in team discussions.
• Gain experience across graphic design, branding, video, motion graphics, animation, and UX/UI.

What the Employer Is Looking For

The ideal candidate should have a strong portfolio, a solid grasp of design fundamentals, and enthusiasm for developing creative work. Prior agency experience is not required.

• A portfolio demonstrating understanding of graphic design principles, branding awareness, and strong concept development.
• Working knowledge of Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to follow a brief and clearly explain the thinking behind design decisions.
• Interest in improving creative ability and staying current with design trends inside and outside the industry.
• A collaborative approach and comfort working with senior creatives and the account team.
• Willingness to learn, contribute across several projects, and get involved with the wider team.

Qualifications

A BA degree in Graphic Design, UX/UI, or a related design subject is preferred but not mandatory.
