Where you'll work
ಕೆಲಸದ ವಿವರ
The role and its impact
In this position, you will support the everyday work of the global People team and help keep core HR operations running smoothly. You will manage the full employee lifecycle from start to finish, making sure onboarding, internal transfers, and exits are handled efficiently and with care.
By keeping people data accurate in HR systems and serving as a dependable first contact for employee questions, you will help create a positive and well-organised workplace. Your work allows regional teams to stay focused on higher-value initiatives while you take care of the operational detail behind the scenes.
The team and how it works
You will be part of a collaborative People Experience team that values open communication and common objectives. The group supports global people operations and works alongside talent acquisition, payroll, and people partnering to deliver a strong internal experience. The team collaborates both virtually and face-to-face to solve operational issues and support a growing workforce.
Initial focus areas
- Take ownership of day-to-day operational delivery for global processes across the full employee lifecycle.
- Spot system pain points and expand automation and AI-driven improvements to reduce manual work.
- Improve processes and efficiency within Workday, JSM, and related workflows.
- Refresh internal knowledge resources and documentation so guidance remains accurate and useful.
Work arrangement
This is a hybrid role. You will split your time between working from home and attending either the Melbourne or Sydney office for planned team collaboration days, known as boost days. The remaining time can be worked remotely with flexibility.
What we are looking for
- Experience in human resources or people operations, preferably within a global technology environment.
- Working knowledge of Jira Service Management and Workday, or similar platforms, with the ability to support process and system improvements.
- Exposure to streamlining manual workflows and using AI-enabled efficiencies to improve how work gets done.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate data.
- Clear, empathetic, and professional communication when supporting employees.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities while handling confidential information with care and discretion.
- A team-oriented approach and willingness to contribute to shared goals.
Application note
You are encouraged to apply even if your background does not match every requirement exactly. Hiring is based on skills, enthusiasm, and the perspective you can bring to the team and culture.
