Role Overview
a&o Hostels is looking for an energetic, travel-oriented Guest Relations Trainer to help raise and maintain high service standards across its properties. This position focuses on building the skills of guest-facing teams so they can create memorable stays, while also serving as a coach, mentor, brand representative, and quality observer.
Training & Service Coaching
You will develop and deliver practical training sessions on site, with a strong emphasis on communication, interpersonal skills, and excellent guest service. The role also involves guiding team members through complaint handling, service recovery, and solution-oriented problem solving.
Performance Observation & Feedback
A key part of the job is watching service behavior as it happens, then giving clear, supportive feedback and positive reinforcement to help employees improve and stay aligned with hospitality expectations.
