Role overview
The Graphic Designer will create and maintain polished visual assets that support ARxIUM’s corporate identity, product documentation, and both internal and external communication needs. The role is centered on producing accurate, consistent, and user-friendly design work for digital and print materials.
This position works closely with Engineering and Product Development to help present product innovation through strong visual storytelling. The designer will translate complex automation concepts into engaging visuals that help customers better understand and connect with ARxIUM’s technology.
In addition, the role contributes to brand strength and market positioning by building cohesive design assets that reinforce a seamless, professional customer experience and help differentiate the company in the market.
Responsibilities
- Create high-quality visuals such as product graphics, UI-related artwork, brochures, presentations, datasheets, technical illustrations, diagrams, icons, templates, and layouts.
- Develop design work from content, messaging, and specifications approved by internal stakeholders.
- Build visuals that make ARxIUM’s automation solutions and product capabilities easier for customers to understand.
- Keep all materials aligned with the company’s brand standards and visual identity.
- Partner with Engineering and Product Development teams to communicate product concepts, features, and workflows visually.
- Produce diagrams, renderings, and other visual representations that help bring automation solutions to life.
- Support product launches and innovation efforts through clear, compelling visual storytelling.
- Work with the Technical Writing team to improve the look and structure of manuals, guides, and templates.
- Help create organized, easy-to-use documentation for both internal and external audiences.
- Convert technical content supplied by subject matter experts into clear and engaging visual formats.
- Maintain clarity, usability, and consistency in all visual outputs without changing the source content or messaging.
- Apply ARxIUM’s visual standards consistently across all materials.
- Strengthen brand consistency and positioning through strong design execution.
- Develop reusable templates and visual systems that support a consistent customer experience.
- Ensure all design outputs are professional, aligned, and reflective of the company’s market position.
- Work with internal teams such as product, technical writing, and leadership to deliver assets that meet defined requirements.
- Make revisions and design updates accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare materials for external use, including presentations and print items, focusing on layout, formatting, and visual execution.
Requirements
- A diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a graphic design or visual production role.
- Hands-on experience creating both digital and print design materials.
- Prior exposure to a B2B or technical setting is considered an advantage.
- Working knowledge of document design tools such as Microsoft Office and layout software.
- Previous experience with branding and corporate identity systems is preferred.
- Strong eye for layout, detail, and visual precision.
- Proficiency with graphic and visual design tools such as Technomatics, FlexSim Healthcare, Twinmotion, Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, or similar software.
- Ability to turn technical or complex information into clear visual communication.

Work location and environment
This role is based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and is offered in a hybrid arrangement.
Physical requirements
The position involves mostly sedentary work with frequent use of fine motor skills and close computer-based work. The employee should be able to handle reaching, sitting, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, feeling, repetitive motion, speaking, and hearing. Visual abilities needed include close, distance, and peripheral vision, along with the ability to adjust focus. More than 75% of the workday is spent looking directly at a computer screen. The role may also require frequent standing and walking, and the ability to manage stressful situations as they arise.
