Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site Finisher position in Ajman Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on the final preparation and finishing of metal kitchen equipment so that each item meets required quality, appearance, and safety standards.
Key Duties
- Complete final surface preparation work on metal kitchen equipment, including grinding, polishing, deburring, and cleaning parts.
- Study technical drawings, measurements, and specifications to carry out the finishing work accurately.
- Check finished components for flaws, then make corrections or adjustments where needed.
- Use hand tools and machinery in a safe and controlled manner.
- Keep the workstation neat, orderly, and compliant with housekeeping standards.
- Raise concerns about defective materials, tool problems, or equipment issues when identified.
- Work in coordination with fabricators, welders, and supervisors to help ensure timely completion and adherence to customer requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Practical experience with metal finishing tasks such as grinding, polishing, deburring, and preparing stainless steel or similar materials.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, dimensions, and fabrication specifications for kitchen equipment.
- Careful attention to detail, with strong inspection ability and a consistent focus on finish quality.
- Knowledge of safe tool and machinery operation, along with proper workplace safety and housekeeping habits.
- Prior exposure to metal fabrication, kitchen equipment manufacturing, or a similar industrial setting is preferred.
- Capability to perform manual work, remain standing for long periods, and handle tools and materials as needed.
- Good communication, coordination, teamwork, and time management, with the discipline to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
- Vocational training, technical certification, or equivalent hands-on experience in metalwork or a related trade is beneficial.
