Role overview
UGL and CPB Contractors, both part of the CIMIC Group, have been chosen by Transgrid to deliver the western section of the HumeLink high voltage electricity transmission project. HumeLink is a major 500kV transmission initiative in regional New South Wales that will link Wagga Wagga, Maragle and Bannaby and strengthen the electricity network across Australia’s eastern states. The broader program includes around 365 km of new transmission lines together with additional new and upgraded infrastructure. The HumeLink West package is valued at $1.4 billion and covers approximately 140 km of new 500kV double-circuit transmission lines from Wagga Wagga Substation to a new substation at Gugaa, the interface point near Gundagai, plus a new substation at Maragle in the Snowy Mountains to support future connection to Snowy 2.0.
Opportunity
This position will be based in Gregadoo, in the Wagga Wagga area, for the full duration of the project and will support the HumeLink West construction delivery team.
What you will do

- Support cost control activities and financial reporting tasks.
- Prepare and enter weekly timesheets for blue-collar employees.
About the ideal candidate

If applicable, proof of tertiary qualifications and evidence of the right to work will need to be provided before appointment.
