Role overview
The Finance Contracts Analyst will report to the Finance Enablement Manager and support accurate, compliant, and efficient billing and revenue operations. This role reviews Salesforce opportunities, verifies customer contracts and financial agreements, confirms pricing and terms, and converts contract requirements into correct billing and financial outputs.
The position works closely with teams across Finance, Sales, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations to support customer onboarding, resolve billing discrepancies, and keep contractual obligations aligned with billing execution. The role also handles CPI increases, invoice delivery, finance cases, and purchase order processes to protect revenue integrity and improve operational efficiency.
For remote roles, occasional travel to the Mississauga and/or Salt Lake City office is expected for onboarding, team events, and semi-annual or annual meetings. The company also notes that it uses AI tools in parts of the hiring process and requires employees, if hired, to follow information security policies and procedures carefully.
Key responsibilities
- Review contracts and financial agreements to confirm compliance with company policies, laws, and regulatory requirements, while spotting risks, mismatches, and inconsistencies. Convert agreed terms into clear billing instructions so invoices can be generated correctly.
- Work with Sales and Customer Success to onboard new customers by setting up billing, verifying payment terms, and ensuring all required billing details, forms, and agreements are captured and put into practice.
- Handle finance case queues and purchase order requirements by researching billing questions, correcting discrepancies, and aligning customer needs with internal billing workflows to support revenue accuracy and process efficiency.
- Check CPI (Consumer Price Index) increase terms within contracts to make sure they are applied correctly during billing cycles, including adherence to caps, limits, and customer communication requirements before invoices are processed.
- Manage invoice delivery so customers receive accurate and timely invoices, and investigate problems such as missing invoices, billing errors, or customer inquiries that affect billing outcomes.
Skills and qualifications
- Background as a financial analyst, contract analyst, or in a similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
- Strong computer skills in a Windows environment, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Comfort using AI tools such as M365 Copilot or Claude, with AI fluency considered an advantage.
- Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce is preferred.
- Understanding of legal and regulatory considerations related to contract management.
- Ability to analyze complex contracts, rates, and data with accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail and a sharp eye for errors or inconsistencies.

Compensation
The Canada base salary range for this role is CAD 64,000 to CAD 71,000 annually, plus bonus, benefits, and overtime eligibility. Final compensation depends on job-related skills, knowledge, relevant experience, and work location.
