Facility Cleaner

Role Overview

Archetype Infrastructure Solutions is hiring a dependable Facility Cleaner to help keep the workplace clean, sanitized, and well organized. This position plays an important part in supporting a safe, healthy, and professional environment for staff, visitors, and day-to-day operations.

The role involves routine and specialized cleaning duties in settings such as a data center, factory, or other industrial facility, with close attention to cleanliness and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out daily cleaning tasks across floors, surfaces, restrooms, break rooms, and shared areas.
• Collect and dispose of trash, recyclables, and other waste according to site procedures.
• Disinfect workstations, equipment surfaces, and frequently touched contact points.
• Use cleaning machinery and tools such as vacuum units, floor scrubbers, and related equipment when needed.
• Track cleaning supply levels and inform a supervisor when replenishment is required.
• Follow safety practices and use protective gear as required.
• Support periodic deep-cleaning work, including dust reduction, elevated cleaning, and specialized sanitation tasks.
• Maintain facility spaces so they consistently meet cleanliness and organization standards.
• Escalate maintenance issues or safety concerns to management without delay.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in janitorial, sanitation, or cleaning work is preferred, especially in industrial or commercial environments.
• Ability to work on your own while maintaining a strong eye for detail.
• Familiarity with basic cleaning tools and the safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 40 lbs, standing and walking for long periods, and completing repetitive tasks.
• Comfortable following strict site rules and safety procedures.

Work Environment

This is an onsite position in Salt Lake City, UT.
