Role overview
CSR is looking for a Distribution Centre Operator to join its Logistics team in Mawson Lakes, South Australia. This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and is centered on safe work practices, efficient warehouse operations, and strong cross-team coordination to achieve reliable customer outcomes.
Working hours
This is a Monday to Friday role, scheduled from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with fellow Distribution Centre Operators to keep day-to-day warehouse activity running smoothly.
- Maintain clear communication with internal teams, stakeholders, and customers to support uninterrupted operations.
- Work in a way that protects personal safety, the safety of others, and the environment.
- Use forklifts safely and professionally across site operations.
- Pick and verify orders according to customer needs and expected service levels.
- Load and unload vehicles using forklifts to meet driver and customer requirements.
- Unpack stock from vehicles and trolleys, then check it accurately against delivery documents.
- Support stock cycle counts when required.
- Collaborate with CSR colleagues to meet team targets and business outcomes.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate brings a practical warehouse mindset, strong accuracy, and a willingness to work as part of a team. Leadership potential is considered an advantage. A current forklift licence and hands-on forklift experience are required. You should also have a solid grasp of warehouse activities, warehouse management systems, and general distribution centre processes. Good numeracy, careful attention to detail, and the ability to handle heavy lifting are important for success in this role.
