Role overview
The company is hiring DevOps Engineers who are driven, enthusiastic, and excited to help build a next-generation core banking platform using contemporary technologies and modern architecture patterns. The role focuses on creating secure, automated, and scalable infrastructure that supports Fimple’s global operations.
What you need to bring
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or a similar technical role.
- Comfort reading technical documentation in English and preparing SDLC-related documentation.
- Practical knowledge of current DevOps tooling, open-source technologies, and cloud environments.
- Hands-on exposure to containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience working with CI/CD systems such as GitLab CI or Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of cluster and orchestration platforms such as Rancher or OpenShift is an advantage.
- Familiarity with observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK-style stacks.
- Ability to manage and scale Redis, Kafka, Elasticsearch, and MinIO in live production settings.
- Strong Linux/Unix administration skills along with scripting ability in Bash, Python, or Go.
- Capability to review and validate software releases, pipelines, and infrastructure components.
- Experience with at least one major public cloud platform, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Understanding of cloud-native security, vulnerability assessment, and secure operational practices.
- A problem-solving mindset, sense of ownership, and the ability to collaborate well in a remote, fast-moving environment.
What you will do
- Partner with development, QA, and product teams to keep the SDLC and release process running smoothly.
- Architect, implement, and improve enterprise-grade DevOps systems and practices.
- Set up and manage development, testing, automation, and infrastructure workflows.
- Design and refine CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments.
- Operate and optimize Kubernetes-based environments with modern orchestration tooling.
- Deploy and support Redis, Kafka, and MinIO with a focus on availability and performance.
- Automate repetitive operational tasks to increase efficiency and reliability.
- Shape deployment approaches, DevOps workflows, and release procedures.
- Take part in incident handling, debugging, and root-cause investigations.
- Track system health and implement strong observability practices.
- Apply security controls, conduct vulnerability assessments, and address identified risks.
- Work closely with engineering and operations teams to strengthen DevOps culture across the company.
- Keep evaluating new technologies that can improve stability, scalability, and platform robustness.
