About the Role
Mintlayer views developer adoption as a primary long-term growth engine, and this role is responsible for making that journey smooth and productive. The position centers on the quality of documentation, the practicality of the SDK, and the clarity of onboarding materials so that developers can integrate quickly without unnecessary friction.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the full developer documentation set, keeping it accurate, complete, and continuously improved.
- Create and publish practical code examples, integration walkthroughs, and fast-start guides.
- Assess the SDK from the standpoint of a new developer and identify usability issues.
- Plan and execute hackathon initiatives, including prize structure, participant support, judging, and post-event follow-up.
- Manage and strengthen Mintlayer’s presence on GitHub.
- Develop connections with community organizers and technical creators who influence developer audiences.
- Prepare a monthly report on developer experience, covering usage trends, documentation shortcomings, and recurring integration obstacles.
Candidate Profile
- At least 4 years of experience in developer relations or technical evangelism for a platform aimed at developers.
- Comfortable writing code samples and evaluating SDKs; this is not suited to someone who only manages communities without coding ability.
- Background in upgrading developer documentation to a production-ready standard.
- Active participation in crypto developer ecosystems such as ETHGlobal and Bitcoin-related hackathons.
