About the Role
This position is for a Construction Superintendent focused on mechanical and piping works in Doha, Qatar, supporting a major oil and gas client. The role sits within a large EPC onshore project covering LNG trains, utilities, and offsites at the RLIC site. You will oversee fabrication, installation, and testing activities through to handover to the commissioning and completion teams, following the planned completion sequence.

What You Will Do
- Lead and take ownership of all piping fabrication, installation, and testing activities within the project scope.
- Supervise construction and fabrication work at the RLIC site and ensure it follows the approved sequence.
- Coordinate closely with EPC contractor teams, working in a mirrored organizational setup.
- Review construction deliverables submitted by the EPC contractor and provide comments or approvals as required.
- Support the handover process so that work transitions smoothly into pre-commissioning and commissioning.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in science or engineering is required.
- At least 10 years of experience in large projects within construction-related areas of the oil and gas industry, such as construction, installation, fabrication, execution, completion, or hook-up.
- Minimum 1 year in a supervisory capacity, including acting supervisory assignments or oversight of vendor/service personnel.
- Strong hands-on background in project execution, especially in fabrication, construction, and large greenfield projects.
- Practical experience in roles such as Discipline Engineer, Project Engineer, Field Engineer, Construction Superintendent, or Construction Manager.
- Prior exposure to multicultural project environments.
- Experience on LNG projects is needed.
