Role overview
Abacare Limited is hiring a Care Assistant in Swansea and nearby areas. This full-time, on-site role is focused on delivering safe, supportive care in clients’ homes and helping them maintain as much independence as possible.
Pay and working details
The hourly rate is £12.70, rising to £12.90 for weekend shifts. Travel time and mileage are paid. The role covers Swansea and the surrounding area, and flexible shift patterns are available. Because of the location and nature of the work, access to a vehicle is essential.
What the role involves
You will support clients with everyday tasks that improve comfort, safety, and wellbeing. This includes following care plans, assisting with personal care, and helping people remain supported in their own homes.
- Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, continence care, and medication support.
- Provide help with shopping, meals, and household tasks.
- Work according to individual care plans.
- Contribute to a safer and more reliable home-care experience for each client.
