Responsibilities

• Mix and prepare doughs, batters, icings, and frostings for breads, rolls, pies, cookies, muffins, cakes, and other baked items, following recipes or customer-specific requests.
• Create pastry items for special celebrations such as weddings and birthdays.
• Operate the baking process for prepared doughs and batters.
• Handle custom and special-order requests.
• Apply frosting and decorative finishing to cakes and other bakery products.
• Check finished goods to ensure they meet quality expectations.
• Inspect kitchen and food service work areas.
• Use bakery machinery and equipment safely and effectively.
• Track, organize, and maintain inventory.
• Prepare items for customers with food allergies or food intolerances.
