Role overview
We are looking for a motivated Barista to join a major high-street coffee brand on a full-time contract of 35 hours per week. In this role, you will prepare high-quality coffee and food, deliver excellent customer service, and help create a welcoming experience for every guest. What you will do
- Prepare well-made drinks and serve food that meets customer expectations.
- Keep the coffee counter and service area tidy and clean.
- Handle customer payments by cash and card accurately.
- Work positively with the team and communicate clearly.
- Ensure cups, plates, and other service items are stocked and ready for use.
- Build knowledge of brewing techniques, drink recipes, food preparation, and presentation.
- Check brewing machines and flag any repair or maintenance issues promptly.
- Act as a positive representative of the Costa brand.
- Follow food safety and hygiene requirements at all times.
- Comply with health and safety rules in the workplace.
