About the Role

This opportunity is with a crypto-focused venture firm that backs projects creating genuine value. The team has previously supported companies such as Uniswap, Morpho, World, Phantom, and Farcaster. It works closely with founders in a hands-on, collaborative way, contributing to strategy, product direction, tokenomics, and incentive design during the earliest stages of building new products.

Role Summary

The firm is looking for an AI Lead to support both its investment activities and internal operations. In this position, you will act as the engineer and product owner for the firm’s internal AI and data products. The role centers on building practical tooling, connecting new AI products into existing workflows, and making sure the team uses these tools correctly in important day-to-day processes.

What Success Looks Like

The ideal candidate can create tools that benefit multiple teams across the firm, including investment, operations, and marketing. You should be someone who is already exploring modern AI tools in personal time and can translate that curiosity into useful internal systems.

Core Responsibilities

• Design and build AI and data tools that improve how the firm works internally.
• Identify opportunities across departments where automation or data products could increase efficiency or quality.
• Integrate new tooling into existing workflows and ensure it is used correctly in sensitive or high-impact processes.
• Act as both a builder and a product lead for internal AI initiatives.
• Gather feedback from users, refine products quickly, and keep the pace of development high.
• Explain internal tools clearly and provide guidance so team members can use them confidently.

• Fast iteration speed with a habit of seeking user feedback early and often.
• Initiative, creativity, and a willingness to improve processes across the firm.
• A collaborative, low-ego mindset with a willingness to handle any task, no matter how small.
• Interest in crypto is helpful, especially the ability to understand on-chain data and use crypto products actively.
• Experience in an AI-native startup or company working at the edge of AI tooling is a plus.
