Johnson & Johnson MedTech is hiring a Zonal Account Manager for Calicut/Kozhikode, Kerala. The role sits within MedTech Sales and is part of the Clinical Sales – Surgeons (Commission) sub-function. This position focuses on driving district-level sales performance while supporting healthcare professionals with product expertise, case planning, and customer-focused execution.

Responsibilities

  • Execute sales plans effectively and deliver strong results against ambitious targets in the assigned district.
  • Develop trusted relationships with key opinion leaders and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Handle day-to-day logistics and case planning to support smooth and accurate surgical execution.
  • Work closely with internal teams to understand customer needs and shape tailored solutions.
  • Study the market to uncover new opportunities and stay updated on changing trends.
  • Provide healthcare professionals with detailed product knowledge and technical support to strengthen market competitiveness.
  • Review sales performance and related metrics regularly, then turn insights into practical improvement actions.
  • Deliver persuasive product demonstrations and presentations to healthcare professionals and potential customers.
  • Submit clear and timely updates on sales activities, market movement, and competitor intelligence to the regional sales manager.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of sales experience, with preference for candidates from the medical device sector.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to build effective working relationships across teams and clients.
  • Excellent planning and organizational ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Careful attention to detail and a strong service mindset focused on consistent, error-free execution.
  • Self-driven and ambitious, with the motivation to exceed sales goals and keep developing professionally.
  • Comfortable using digital tools and platforms to improve sales engagement and customer interaction.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
