At the Darmstadt and Langen sites, battery systems are developed and manufactured for fully electric commercial vehicles such as trucks, buses, ships, and trains. The role is based in Darmstadt and is available immediately.
Responsibilities
- Classify goods and maintain foreign trade master data.
- Prepare import and export instructions for external service providers.
- Create customs documents such as Carnet ATA and A.TR.
- Compile and submit the monthly intra-trade statistics.
- Provide cross-functional support on all relevant customs matters.
- Request and issue supplier declarations.
- Carry out sanctions list screening.
- Develop internal training sessions.
- Write and maintain process documentation.
- Support projects related to customs topics.
- Review invoices.
- Maintain customs-related statistics.
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training in freight forwarding or industry.
- Initial exposure to transport, logistics, and import/export clearance is an advantage.
- Independent, well-organized, and accountable way of working.
- Quick comprehension and strong commitment.
- Very good German skills and good English skills, both spoken and written.
