About the Role
Based in Newman, WA and reporting to the Branch Manager, this permanent full-time position is suited to someone who enjoys hands-on yard work, equipment handling, and maintaining a safe, organised work environment.
Key Duties
- Move equipment in and out of the yard, including loading and unloading tasks.
- Keep equipment clean and presentable.
- Check items when they are returned by customers and note any issues.
- Top up fuel and complete minor maintenance or small repairs promptly.
- Help manage stock levels and asset control across the yard.
- Build and maintain good working relationships with important contractors.
- Carry out general yard maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
What You’ll Need
The ideal candidate will bring a strong safety mindset, a positive approach, and the ability to work independently. Required and preferred experience includes a forklift licence, a current driver’s licence, and hands-on experience with loading and unloading equipment. An EWP licence is considered highly desirable. You should also be self-driven and comfortable working without close supervision.
