About the Company
Custom Truck One Source (CTOS) operates from 11102 261 Street, Acheson, AB, T7X 6C7. The company builds, assembles, sells, rents, and maintains trucks, cranes, and other heavy equipment. Its customer base includes major utility, telecom, construction, forestry, oil, and rail businesses across Canada and the United States.
Role Overview
The Yard Attendant supports shop and branch operations by preparing equipment so it is ready for rental, helping with loading and unloading, keeping the branch site neat and presentable, and assisting mechanics and other team members with labor-focused tasks.
Working Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am to 4:30pm
- Overtime may be required
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe workplace at all times by following safety procedures and using required PPE.
- Clean and detail the interior and exterior of trucks in the wash bay.
- Drive and operate a range of light-duty and heavy-duty trucks on the premises.
- Support technicians during repair work when extra help is needed.
- Occasionally travel with field technicians to assist with repairs at off-site locations.
- Handle check-in and check-out processes for rental, sold, and used equipment.
- Carry out general labor work related to the building, yard, shop, warehouse, and equipment.
- Perform routine housekeeping tasks such as sweeping and emptying trash.
- Take on other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in parts and service or a similar environment is required.
- Working knowledge of common office tools, including MS Office Suite, and inventory systems.
