Workshop Manager

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Workshop Manager to oversee our fleet maintenance operations. This role involves managing daily workshop activities, enhancing technician productivity, ensuring top-notch service quality, and providing excellent customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will optimize resource use, drive profitability, and maintain smooth functioning of corporate fleet services.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily workshop operations to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
• Lead, guide, and mentor technicians and service advisors to boost performance.
• Plan and distribute tasks effectively by considering workforce capacity, skills, and job priorities.
• Track and analyze technician output and workshop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Guarantee that all repairs comply with manufacturer and company quality standards.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
• Build and manage customer relationships while resolving any service-related issues promptly.
• Maintain control over workshop expenses and strive for improved profitability.
• Coordinate with procurement and inventory departments to ensure availability of necessary parts.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety regulations, and Service Level Agreements (SLA).
• Champion the adoption of digital tools for workshop and fleet management.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience managing automotive workshops or fleet maintenance within the UAE is essential.
• Possession of a valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
• Holder of an active UAE Residence Visa.
• Solid technical understanding of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles.
• Familiarity with Workshop Management or Fleet Management Software.
• Demonstrated leadership, strategic planning, and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous.
