Job description

Role overview

InnoGames is hiring a working student to support its Community Management team in Hamburg. This role offers a chance to experience the full scope of international community management inside one of Germany’s top game studios while studying locally.

What you will do

  • Help keep the Community Management team’s everyday work organized and running efficiently.
  • Manage and structure files, records, and filing systems so information remains easy to find and up to date.
  • Prepare, create, and digitize documents, including contracts for external staff.
  • Coordinate the distribution of internal department mailings and information updates.
  • Handle e-mails, letters, and related correspondence in German and English with care and professionalism.
  • Own two larger initiatives each year, including the Community Management Meeting in Hamburg and the annual gift campaign for external staff.
  • Coordinate appointments, deadlines, and team events to help maintain a connected and well-organized team environment.
  • Support simple video work for internal occasions such as anniversaries or small events, including planning, filming, and light editing for short clips.

What is expected of you

  • You must currently be enrolled at a university or college in Germany and have at least two semesters left in your studies.
  • You should live in Hamburg or nearby so you can attend on-site meetings, events, and project-related activities when needed.
  • You need to be available for 20 hours per week on a flexible basis, with the ability to increase support during busy periods in May, June, and November.
  • You should communicate fluently in both German and English, in writing and speaking, ideally at B2/C1 level or above.
  • You need to work in a structured, efficient, and goal-oriented manner, with strong organizational and project coordination abilities.
  • Reliability, care, discretion, and the ability to work independently are important for this position.
  • You should be comfortable using MS Office; knowledge of Photoshop or InDesign would be an advantage.
  • Basic experience with AI tools is desirable, along with curiosity about how they can support community-related workflows.
