Job description
Role Overview
An opportunity is available for an experienced Workday-focused Business Analyst to support integration delivery in Singapore. The role centers on building dependable, scalable solutions across the Workday ecosystem while collaborating with both technical and functional stakeholders.
Technical and Platform Expertise
- You should bring deep hands-on knowledge of Workday integration technologies and be able to deliver solutions that are stable, supportable, and easy to maintain.
- Experience across Workday integration tools such as Studio, EIB, PECI, WECI, and RaaS is required.
- A strong grasp of integration design patterns, data movement, and the impact on downstream systems is important.
- The role calls for at least 6 years of Workday integration experience, including a minimum of 2 end-to-end implementations.
- Certification in Workday Integration Core or Workday Studio is required.
- Understanding of Workday security principles will be considered an advantage.
Advanced Studio Development
- You will be expected to independently design, develop, and troubleshoot complex Workday Studio integrations.
- Solutions should be built to production standards, with strong logging, error management, and XSLT usage.
- The use of reusable building blocks and engineering best practices is needed to reduce long-term technical debt.
Functional and Domain Awareness
- The position requires a solid understanding of HCM processes so integration logic aligns with business rules and operational needs.
- Data must be mapped accurately between Core HCM, Finance, and external platforms.
- You should be able to identify functional side effects and edge cases, especially in cross-agency scenarios.
Integration Governance and Security
- Integrations must be designed to be secure, compliant, and scalable across the enterprise.
- Workday security controls, encryption, and naming/versioning conventions should be applied consistently.
- Solutions must support auditability, resilience, and long-term operational reliability.
Reporting, Monitoring and Access Control
- You will configure RaaS and outbound EIB processes with access managed through domain and report security.
- Monitoring should rely on logs, alerts, and traceability tools to detect and resolve issues early.
Problem Solving and Reliability Engineering
- The role requires quick incident diagnosis and practical fixes that can be reused across integrations.
- Stability should be improved through stronger observability and sound design patterns.
- Practical experience with EIB, PECI, WECI, Workday Studio, custom reports, and security is expected.
Communication and Stakeholder Engagement
- You will need to translate integration designs and trade-offs into clear language for non-technical audiences.
- The role involves guiding teams through architecture choices, risks, and system dependencies.
Mentoring and Capability Building
- Team leadership experience is required.
- You should be able to review code, encourage standards, and share reusable assets.
- Coaching junior developers and testers to strengthen overall team capability is part of the role.
