Job description
Role Overview
Ripple Property Management is hiring a weekend-focused Property Experience & Showing Agent in Calgary, Alberta. This is a field-based, in-person role for someone who enjoys people-first service and can turn a routine property tour into a polished, memorable experience. You will act as the public face of the company on Saturdays and Sundays, connecting weekday operations with prospective residents.
The position calls for a premium service mindset, strong presentation, and dependable transportation. Because the role involves representing the brand directly to visitors, professional grooming, a warm personality, and a highly reliable personal vehicle are essential.
What You Will Do
You will support in-person leasing experiences, keep properties presentation-ready, and manage weekend property flow with the help of digital tools.
- Lead showings that feel refined, personal, and experience-driven rather than transactional.
- Build quick, authentic relationships with prospective tenants through attentive and friendly service.
- Create memorable “wow” moments during leasing interactions, inspired by luxury hospitality and premium guest service.
- Respond to on-site property questions with a concierge-style approach so visitors feel welcomed and valued.
- Make sure each home or unit is clean, well-lit, staged properly, and ready before appointments.
- Use modern scheduling and showing tools, including Showmojo, to move efficiently across Calgary during the weekend.
- Close properties carefully at the end of appointments by switching off lights, locking doors, and returning keys securely to lockboxes.
Required Background and Fit
The ideal candidate has a strong hospitality foundation and a natural ability to make people feel comfortable right away. Experience in luxury service, fine dining, premium retail, or a similar high-end customer-facing environment is especially relevant. You should communicate clearly, professionally, and warmly, while also being comfortable working independently.
- Demonstrated experience in luxury service, hospitality, fine dining, or premium customer experience.
- Ability to build rapport quickly and make others feel genuinely cared for.
- Polished, articulate, and welcoming communication style.
- Track record of creating memorable service moments rather than simply completing transactions.
- High standards for dress, grooming, and overall personal presentation.
- Valid Alberta driver’s license and access to a dependable personal vehicle for travel between Calgary properties.
- Full availability on Saturdays and Sundays.
- Comfort using smartphone apps, digital access systems, and CRM tools while in the field.
- Self-directed working style with the ability to stay organized without close supervision.
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Previous field experience in real estate, leasing, or residential property operations.
- Exposure to Showmojo, HubSpot, or lockbox systems used in real estate.
- An active RECA license in Property Management or Residential Real Estate would be an advantage, though it is not mandatory.
Not Required
- Extensive backend property management or maintenance experience.
- A degree in marketing or content creation.
Why This Role Stands Out
- Your presentation and warmth will directly influence how prospective residents view the brand and property.
- Administrative and scheduling work is handled through the company’s tech stack, letting you focus on face-to-face service.
- You will join a quality-driven team with a strong reputation for customer care and service excellence.
- The role offers a pathway to long-term growth and possible transition into full-time operations as the portfolio expands.
Who This Role Suits
This opportunity is a strong match for someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality, takes pride in the details, and works well with freedom and trust. It is not ideal for someone looking for a desk-based role, highly scripted interactions, or a fast-paced commission-led sales environment.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly pay ranges from CAD 22.00 to CAD 26.00, depending on experience.
- Mileage is reimbursed in full for travel between property viewings at the official CRA rate of CAD 0.73 per kilometre.
- You will receive practical training on modern property technology platforms.
- There may be room to grow into a full-time operations role as the business portfolio increases.
