About the role
This is a fixed-term, onsite contract running until November 2026. The working pattern is 4 days on and 2 days off, with shifts scheduled either from 6:00am to 3:00pm or from 9:00am to 6:00pm.
The role focuses on keeping the resort tidy and presentable by clearing general waste and recycling bins, while also helping with litter picking and sweeping pathways when needed. A strong customer service mindset is important, as guests may ask for help or directions around the park.
Main duties
- Keep the resort to a high cleanliness standard by clearing general waste and recycling bins, and assist with pathway sweeping when required.
- Operate resort compactors and ensure waste is compressed correctly.
- Cover washroom host breaks when needed.
- Maintain clean and well-stocked washrooms.
- Carry out occasional tasks such as window cleaning.
- Use cleaning and grounds equipment such as pressure washers, Billy Goat leaf vacuums, leaf blowers, and rakes.
- Handle chemicals in line with COSHH requirements.
- Respond appropriately to vomit or excrement incidents if required.
- Present a professional image of the department when interacting with guests.
- Keep communication and conduct professional, helpful, and respectful across the team.
- Show commitment to the department by living the company values and supporting teamwork.
- Take part in department meetings and contribute ideas for future improvement.
Requirements
- Must have full legal permission to work in the UK.
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to perform well in a fast-moving environment.

Additional information
This is a fixed-term contract position. The role also requires a professional, helpful attitude when dealing with guests and a willingness to support the department beyond core duties when needed.
