About the Role
Join a company focused on supporting sustainable food and animal nutrition solutions. The role is within the Feeds ‘N Needs division in Bridgewater and is suited to someone looking for a permanent, full-time position with around 40 hours per week.
Reporting to the Store Manager, this position combines retail and warehouse support. You will help manage incoming deliveries, verify product paperwork and quantities, and take care of inventory storage, rotation, tracking, and counts. The role also includes keeping the warehouse, yard, and store organized and maintained. The job requires the ability to lift 25 kg feed bags and handle other assigned duties.
Responsibilities
Your day-to-day work will center on operational support, inventory control, and customer service.
- Process incoming shipments and check documents to confirm product details and quantities.
- Store, rotate, monitor, and count stock accurately.
- Keep the warehouse, yard, and store areas clean, organized, and functional.
- Complete all task-related paperwork to maintain correct records for food safety and quality compliance.
- Follow manufacturing procedures and safety rules with care.
- Deliver service with a professional, positive attitude and a customer-focused approach.
- Work efficiently in a busy environment while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or an equivalent level of education.
- Ability to communicate and write in English.
- Comfort using cash handling procedures, MS Office, and other computer applications.
- Strong organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Good problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and prioritize several tasks at once.
- Willingness to learn on the job, along with any specialized formal training required.
- Physical ability to bend and twist regularly and lift 25 kg occasionally.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Comfort working around loud noise, dust, and hot or cold conditions.
- Must be authorized to work in Canada.
