Role overview
TAFE SA is seeking a Warehouse Officer for a long-term full-time contract through 30 July 2027. The position sits at the Regency campus on Kaurna Country and is classified at OPS2 level with a salary band of $64,194 to $67,154 per year, plus superannuation.
This role supports stores, warehouse, maintenance, and procurement activities for the Construction Trades and Defence and Agriculture programs. It plays an important part in helping the organisation meet its business goals by providing reliable, customer-focused support.
You will report to the Materials Handling Manager at Tonsley and work with colleagues across the organisation, including suppliers, teaching staff, students, industry contacts, other agencies, and members of the public.
Key duties
The role involves helping maintain smooth warehouse and stores operations, keeping stock available, and supporting the timely supply of goods and materials. It also contributes to maintenance and procurement tasks while maintaining a strong focus on service quality and operational efficiency.
What the role requires
TAFE SA is looking for someone with practical experience in a warehouse or stores setting, especially where customer service and procurement support are part of the work. You should also have experience managing stock levels, using reordering processes, and carrying out cycle counts and stocktakes.
The position calls for someone who can support effective day-to-day warehouse operations and follow workplace health and safety requirements, including keeping the storage area clean, orderly, and compliant.
