Job description

Role overview

This opportunity is for seasoned cybersecurity professionals who want to help improve advanced AI systems while working remotely and choosing their own hours. The work is focused on checking how well AI performs on practical security tasks and using your real-world experience to make its outputs more reliable.

As part of the team, you will collaborate with modern AI models on activities such as reviewing AI-produced security material, tackling technical security challenges, and sharing input that influences how the models understand genuine threats and defenses. Some contributors use this as a side engagement alongside a full-time job, while others make it their main focus.

How the process works

After creating an account, you will complete a short assessment that acts as the selection step. If successful, you will receive confirmation by email and paid tasks will be unlocked through the platform.

Responsibilities

  • Assess AI-generated cybersecurity content, including threat assessments, vulnerability reviews, and offensive security topics, to confirm whether it is accurate and practical.
  • Create and solve security-oriented technical exercises that help train AI systems.
  • Prepare clear technical write-ups and code relevant to security tasks.
  • Share feedback that helps shape future AI models for cybersecurity use cases.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in areas such as penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or similar work, including government or military cyber operations.
  • Basic coding ability is required, along with comfort working through and modifying an existing codebase.
  • Strong written English skills at a native or bilingual level.
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Industry certifications such as OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, or similar credentials are considered an advantage.

Additional information

This is an independent contractor role. Compensation is processed through PayPal, and no payment is ever requested from applicants. The role is open only to candidates located in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.

Compensation and flexibility

Work is paid hourly, with starting rates of $50 to $100+ per hour and bonus rates on some projects. You can choose the assignments you take on and decide when you work, using your own computer from home.
