VP/AVP Project and Change Delivery

Role overview

A global asset management firm is looking for a seasoned transformation specialist to join its Singapore office. This position sits at the centre of major change efforts, supporting strategic programmes and business improvement initiatives across the investment management lifecycle.

You will work directly with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to shape and deliver both large transformation programmes and smaller targeted improvements, spanning front, middle and back office functions.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full delivery cycle for important strategic and business-focused initiatives across investment, operations, and corporate areas.
• Take projects from initial issue framing and requirements discovery through implementation and post-delivery benefits tracking.
• Operate in a dual capacity as project manager and business analyst, turning business needs into workable solutions.
• Lead change work that may range from broad enterprise programmes to focused tactical enhancements.
• Work with stakeholders to uncover improvement opportunities, question existing ways of working, and strengthen operating models.
• Create polished presentations, status updates, and leadership-ready materials for senior stakeholders.
• Set up strong project governance, delivery roadmaps, and risk controls.
• Contribute to change management activities that support adoption and long-term success.
• Use digital tools and AI-enabled solutions to improve productivity, analysis, and delivery quality.
• Act as a dependable advisor to business teams by providing both strategic guidance and execution support.

Requirements

• About 10 to 15 years of experience in project management, transformation, change delivery, or business analysis, ideally in financial services.
• Background in asset management, banking, capital markets, or consulting is preferred.
• Good knowledge of financial services products, business processes, and operating models.
• A strong record of delivering complex change and transformation work.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders and influence senior leaders effectively.
• Strong analytical ability, structured thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort switching between strategic planning and hands-on execution.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Exposure to digital transformation, operating model redesign, or platform implementation will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with AI tools and digital solutions is highly desirable.
