Role overview
This is a permanent, on-roll position with Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited for a Virtual Relationship Manager based in Thane West (Wagle Estate), Maharashtra. The role sits within the bank’s contact centre branch model and is entirely office-based, with no work-from-home arrangement, no customer visits, no face-to-face meetings, and no field work.
The position offers a fixed salary along with strong performance-based incentives. The job level mentioned for this opening is Assistant Manager - M1 / Deputy Manager - M2.
Work environment and schedule
The role follows a 5-day work week with two weekly offs: one fixed weekly off on Sunday and one additional off on a weekday or Saturday. Working hours are a fixed day shift from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm.
Key duties
The selected candidate will handle outbound calling for wealth and Privy customers, and may also be trained across phone banking functions such as cards, liabilities, and assets. The role includes selling to mapped customer accounts and delivering outcomes across customer experience and sales metrics.
Performance expectations
Success in the role will be measured through customer satisfaction, service level, service quality, and sales results. The incumbent is expected to maintain communication quality, support customer servicing within productivity and quality benchmarks, resolve customer issues quickly, complete end-of-day process logs, follow information security requirements, and stay updated on process changes. Feedback from the team leader, team coach, and quality team must be used to improve performance.

The ideal applicant should have strong verbal and written communication, active listening ability, and confidence in customer handling. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, integrity, teamwork, and the ability to build quick rapport with colleagues, managers, and customers are important.
Experience and eligibility
Applicants should have 1 to 6 years of sales experience in Banking or BFSI. Candidates from other relevant sales backgrounds, including outbound sales or branch sales, may also be considered. The role is open to graduates from any stream and postgraduates from any stream. Female candidates between 20 and 32 years of age are preferred.
Compensation and benefits
The annual CTC is between INR 3.50 lakh and INR 4.25 lakh, with additional high incentives linked to performance. Benefits include Provident Fund, gratuity, mediclaim, and insurance cover as per company policy.
