Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for a Video Editor and Content Creator to support a comedy-focused brand based in Washington, DC. The work centers on producing engaging content for The Martin Amini Show and Room 808 Comedy Club.
What You’ll Do
This position involves both shooting and editing, with some travel required for selected tour dates. The ideal candidate will know how to capture live moments and shape them into short-form content that performs well on social platforms.
Core Experience Needed
The role calls for hands-on experience in editing for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and YouTube. You should also be comfortable filming live events, comedy performances, podcasts, and behind-the-scenes footage.
Strong turnaround speed is important, along with polished audio, captions, and editing flow that keeps attention. A good sense of comedy timing, audience reactions, crowd work, and viral-worthy moments is also essential.
You will also be expected to keep footage organized and manage content across several platforms.
Schedule and Work Conditions
This is an in-person position at Room 808 and may require work during nights and weekends. Some travel may also be part of the job.
