ZEE5 is the OTT streaming service of Zee Network and has been expanding quickly across India as well as overseas markets. It features a broad catalogue of acclaimed Indian entertainment in 12 languages, alongside major TV titles, popular Bollywood films, and more than 100,000 hours of content from the network. Role Overview
The APAC Head will be part of the ZEE5 leadership group and will be responsible for shaping strategy and accelerating growth across the Asia-Pacific region. This role owns the APAC business end to end, with accountability for localized growth, revenue expansion, and coordinated cross-functional execution aligned with the company’s global direction.

Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of ZEE5’s APAC profit and loss, and deliver durable revenue growth through subscriptions, AVOD, digital advertising, FAST, syndication, partnerships, and new monetization opportunities.
- Define and execute market expansion plans that are tailored to local consumer preferences, pricing dynamics, content demand, and distribution structures in each APAC market.
- Accelerate revenue growth by expanding digital sales, building telco and device partnerships, growing B2B distribution, and creating advertiser-focused solutions beyond core streaming.
- Work closely with Content, Language Heads, Marketing, CLM, Customer Acquisition, Analytics, Product, and Tech teams to deliver integrated business results and improve responsiveness in each market.
- Strengthen brand visibility and audience reach while improving engagement, retention, and lifetime value across the region.
- Set up a strong data-led operating model, using analytics to improve CAC, ARPU, the monetization mix, and funnel performance.
- Coordinate with the President’s office, CBO’s Office, category teams, and regional leaders to build an execution-focused organization aligned with ZEE5’s global vision.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of experience in OTT, digital media, or consumer internet, with leadership exposure at a regional or international level.
- Proven capability in managing P&L and growing revenue through subscriptions, AVOD, digital advertising, partnerships, and distribution-led business models.
- Strong understanding of APAC markets, including consumer behavior, content ecosystems, telco and device partnerships, and regulatory considerations.
- Demonstrated ability to scale businesses, introduce new monetization channels, and design go-to-market plans for both emerging and mature markets.
- Comfortable using data and insights to guide decisions related to acquisition, engagement, retention, ARPU, and monetization mix.
