Role overview
The Vice President of Operations is a full-time remote leadership position focused on running day-to-day operations at scale, improving efficiency, and keeping execution aligned with the company’s broader strategy. The role is responsible for building strong operational frameworks that support long-term growth while maintaining high service quality.
What you will do
In this role, you will lead cross-functional teams, define and track operational performance measures, and continuously improve workflows, systems, and processes. You will guide operational planning, oversee budgets and resources, and work to raise customer service standards while ensuring reliable delivery of services.
You will also partner with senior leadership on strategic initiatives, manage complex projects from planning through completion, and put risk controls and compliance practices in place. A key part of the job is coaching operational leaders, promoting accountability, and building a culture of ongoing improvement driven by data and insights.
Qualifications and experience
- Deep experience in operations leadership and project delivery, with the ability to coordinate teams and execute complex initiatives within scope and deadlines.
- Strong capability in financial oversight, including P&L ownership, budgeting, and strategic planning to support profitability and business goals.
- A customer-focused mindset with the ability to shape service standards that improve satisfaction and retention.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills for influencing decisions and building effective relationships across the organization.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with practical use of data and metrics to improve performance.
- Experience leading remote or distributed teams, along with excellent organization and time management.
- Preferred background of 10+ years in progressive operations leadership and a bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related discipline; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is advantageous.
