Role overview
We are looking for a caring and committed Veterinary Nurse to join a veterinary team in Dubai. In this position, you will support veterinarians across medical and surgical care, helping deliver safe, high-quality treatment and comfort for animal patients.
Key responsibilities
- Support veterinarians during check-ups and surgical operations.
- Take diagnostic samples such as blood, urine, and tissue for laboratory analysis.
- Give medications and other treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
- Get animals ready for surgery and help maintain a clean, sterile clinical setting.
- Observe patients receiving treatment and escalate any changes in their condition.
- Guide pet owners on appropriate animal care and nutrition.
- Keep patient files and clinical notes accurate and up to date.
- Handle animals with care, patience, and professionalism.
Requirements
- A diploma or degree in Veterinary Nursing or a closely related discipline is required.
- At least 2 years of Veterinary Nurse experience within the UAE is necessary.
- Applicants should currently be available in the UAE.
- Must be skilled in safely handling and restraining animals.
- Should be able to perform well in a busy, high-pressure environment.
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills are important.
- Good organization and careful attention to detail are essential.
