Job description
Role Overview
Organization for Global Policy & Dialogue is hiring a part-time Vendor Management Manager in Dubai for a hybrid work setup, allowing some days to be worked remotely. In this position, you will take ownership of the full vendor lifecycle and help ensure the organization has reliable suppliers and service providers to meet both operational and program needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle vendor sourcing, assessment, onboarding, and ongoing monitoring.
- Negotiate and administer vendor contracts while keeping organizational policies and compliance requirements in view.
- Work with internal teams to understand requirements and support procurement planning and execution.
- Track vendor performance, review cost efficiency, and identify opportunities to improve outcomes.
- Resolve vendor-related concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain complete and accurate vendor records and documentation.
- Monitor key performance indicators and use findings to support process improvement.
Qualifications
- Solid analytical ability to assess vendor performance, compare proposals, and make informed decisions.
- Hands-on experience with contract negotiation and contract administration.
- Clear communication skills for working with internal stakeholders and vendors.
- Background in procurement activities such as vendor selection, purchase planning, and cost control.
- Previous experience in vendor management, supply chain, or operations, preferably in nonprofit, policy, or training-oriented settings.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Public Administration, or a similar discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to manage priorities independently and collaborate effectively in a hybrid, cross-functional environment.
- Working knowledge of contract law fundamentals, vendor management platforms, and common procurement tools is beneficial.
