Role overview

As a Valet Attendant in Half Moon Bay, you will be part of the guest welcome and farewell experience. The role focuses on delivering courteous service and handling vehicle movement safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a high standard of guest service to every visitor.
• Park and retrieve vehicles safely between the garage and the customer as needed.
• Carry out additional work-related tasks assigned by a supervisor or the corporate office.

Qualifications

The company is looking for candidates who communicate well in English, either verbally, in writing, or both. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver’s license with a clean and safe driving history, and present themselves in a professional manner. Comfort operating a manual transmission is considered an advantage.

Physical demands

The job requires the ability to sprint short distances, remain standing for extended periods of time, and frequently bend, stoop, squat, lift, push, pull, and carry items during a shift. You should also be prepared to work outdoors in challenging weather conditions such as heat, wind, snow, and rain. The role may involve handling items weighing up to 50 pounds, including signs and luggage.

Classification and pay

This is a non-exempt hourly position with a pay rate of $17.91 per hour.
