Role Overview

The Unarmed Security Guard will deliver security support at one or more client locations during assigned shifts. Site locations, working hours, and schedules may change depending on staffing needs, call-offs, client requirements, and contract updates. The organization aims to respect preferred schedules whenever possible, but the position requires adaptability and flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Protect the assigned client location(s) and help safeguard people, property, and assets.
• Be prepared to cover different shifts and locations as operational needs change.
• Present a professional manner in all interactions with clients, visitors, and coworkers.
• Perform routine patrols and keep an eye on surveillance systems while following site security procedures.
• Record incidents, security concerns, or unusual activity accurately and report them to the proper contact.
• Carry out other tasks assigned by the leadership team.

Requirements

• Good communication and problem-solving ability.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active PERC license required.
• Prior unarmed security or similar experience is preferred.
• Strong awareness of surroundings and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate clearly and de-escalate situations effectively.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol for long periods.
• Should be able to respond quickly and appropriately during emergencies.

Schedule and Availability

• Security guards are expected to work the shifts assigned at their designated client sites.
• Schedules, shift timings, and site assignments can change based on SSPG and client needs.
• Willingness to take extra shifts, including on-call or emergency coverage, is required.

Benefits

• Weekly pay every Friday.
• Referral bonus.
• Pay rate of $18.00 per hour.
