Role overview
This position is for a UI/UX Designer who will move beyond pure execution and take on greater influence within delivery teams. The role involves owning specific workstreams, raising the overall quality of design output, and contributing to solutions that extend past individual features.
Key responsibilities
- Guide design work within cross-functional teams to create strong, user-focused experiences.
- Contribute to design-led initiatives and consistently represent the needs of end users.
- Create and hand off design outputs for both digital products and service journeys.
- Go beyond standard approaches to develop fresh and differentiated design solutions.
- Work closely with business and delivery partners to align design decisions with wider organizational objectives.
- Use storytelling to support ideas, shape decisions, and earn stakeholder confidence.
- Keep up with current design practices, emerging methods, and commonly used tools.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in design.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and influence outcomes.
- Solid understanding of industry design standards.
- Good time management and issue management capabilities.
- Proven ability to handle work end-to-end.
- Comfortable giving and receiving constructive critique.
- Skilled in relevant design tools.
